I took about 10 pictures just like this one where he's in various poses singing some of my favorites. Ben near the microphone. Ben playing guitar. Ben with head bent down, looking pensive. Seriously, though, this was one of the best shows I've been to in a long, long time. It was just Ben and Brian sitting and playing the acoustic guitar. There were only about 30 people standing in front and singing along with the songs. Ben kept forgetting the words, and we'd have to help him out. It was very reminiscent of old school Sound Stage days before the frat boys took over the crowd. It was awesome. My love for Lucero has been renewed (as if it was fading or something). They sang a lot of songs from their first album, and they took requests all night long. I loved it. Sorry you other Lucero people out there missed it.... it was amazing.
