Hooray, it's our birthday. Ok, so I've gotten over the whole I'm-not-going-to-be-25 thing. I'm over it and embracing the mid-twenties. My first memory of Kristen is from nap time in kindergarten. I was not sleeping and staring at things around the room while listening to records. That's when I noticed the birthday train on the wall and that someone named Kristen had my same birthday. I knew that was the girl with red hair, so after nap time I decided we should be friends. I mean, we have the same birthday right? Turns out we were born in the same hospital just hours apart. Her grandma swears she remembers a Ross baby.My top birthday parties:
1. 5th grade: Kristen and I had a "Clue" (as in the movie) slumber party at her house. We all had parts and we reinacted the movie. On video. It's hilarious. I was the director/singing telegram girl. Kristen was Ms. Body.
2. My Double Dare party at Shotgun Dan's pizza. My dad was Mark Summers. We had physical challenges.
3. It's a tie: our 16th birthday party at her stepdad's condo in Maumelle. Somehow word got out our parents were in Ireland and there was an open liquor cabinet. Not at all true, but a ton of people showed up. And our 18th party at Chucky Cheese. Thus began my deep, deep love for their birthday cakes. They're fan-freaking-tastic.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KRISTEN! LOVE YOU! :)
