Sorry for the delay on the weekend bloggiture. Here we go...! Saturday we went to the River Market for some absolutely fantabulous Greek food from a scary Greek man. He sure does know how to make that falafel though. Mmmmm... After that, we went to the Picasso exhibit at the Arts Center. It was great. SO great, in fact, that I made a worksheet right there on the spot for the kiddoes to fill out and get some extra credit for the espanol. Ahhh yes.
On our way out the door, still fully reveling in all of Picasso's glory, we came across this happy little duck family. Followin' their mama. Everybody say, "awwww!" You know you did in your head already. I know it.
A fun side note, when I googled the Arkansas Arts Center, this is the second picture I found. It's from this website which is kind of hilarious. Look at the other pictures from inside the museum. With commentary. Apparently by a sheep-like thing.
To finish up an almost perfect Saturday, we blew up an above-ground inflatable pool, put it in the backyard, and played Marco Polo. All of us. It was the time of my life. Wish I had pictures of the real thing, but you'll have to settle for.... uhhhh... this fine group of people. In a field. Have a good week, all!
