This is the view from the front of the classroom. Notice the artificial bulletin boards I made (I'm in a trailer- they don't have them in there). We've got "La Persona del Mes" (person of the month) and a bulletin board about "La Familia" (vocab words for mom, dad, sister, etc.). The person of the month is Manolete- a famous Spanish bullfighter. Look! You learned something today!

I think George Lopez should be person of the month and you can watch his show all day. That would be great!!
Last year I had a bulletin board with famous Hispanic celebrities that said "Hablamos espanol!" (We speak Spanish!). It had George Lopez, J Lo, Ricky Martin, Speedy Gonzalez, and the teacher favorite-- Ponch from CHIPS. Heck, yes.
