It's official. The kids have gone absolutely flippin' insane. Perhaps I have too. It's hard to tell. Today I am screening kiddoes going into 3rd grade for the GT program. Tomorrow I have no kids except for 7th period. So I have to pack my room away. All those cutesie decorations I have worked so hard on need to be tossed out. Or put in the closet for next year. Friday is a half day (2 halves plus a whole= 2 days, that's my logic). I need to pick a movie to show my homeroom. It has to be G or PG. Any thoughts???
My ideas were "The Karate Kid," (HUSH, I freaking love it), "The Princess Bride," and the "Outsiders." It must be on VHS because my classroom doesn't have a DVD player, and I have those. Any other suggestions?

Karate Kid. You can even do a Bible analogy.
The Goonies!!!!! I have it...if only we lived in the same town I could loan it to you. Patience grasshopper.
those are all good...is this for spanish or cpu classes?when i was in spanish we watched this one movie about a chick's quinceanera. that was fun. and another one about amnesty- some teenage chick whose parents were not legal and she got involved in registering people and blah blah....
okay you're right, princess bride, karate kid, and outsiders all rule over that. i could watch princess bride, goonies, ferris, or holy grail every single day of my life and not get sick of them. fact.
or the kill bill movies. which is weird, i realize.
Brooke, we are SO the same person. I love all those movies. I totally show the quinceanera movie every year. Then I make them write papers about it (ask Kat, it was hilarious). "If my dad were REALLY illegal, I would go to the President." But this is just for my homeroom, so it gets to be fun. Not that "Sweet 15" isn't fun!!
